The Codex Mondial campaign was launched on 1 January. It is aimed at individual World Citizens. Over the past six months, I have been proposing the creation of a United Mankind Initiative to relevant civil society groups and organisations. This is all explained in the blog posts published here. So far, the response has been muted to non-existent. This may be due to the fact that these NGOs themselves are suffering from a lack of staff. And they certainly also lack financial resources. Hence the appeal to individuals. The few sentences of the Codex Mondial should enable anyone interested to recognise for themselves whether the United Mankind Initiative is something they might want to get involved in.
In order to bring the Codex Mondial to the people, there are translations here in the blog in the most widely used colonial languages, English, French, Spanish and Portuguese, as well as in the original German text, from which all translations are based. Other languages may be added if it makes sense. To spread the word, I write emails to groups and organisations worldwide that are less theoretical on the Internet and more practical in their work for a better world. You can find a clear list of such organisations at the Netzkraft Movement.
The concrete action now consists of collecting the Internet addresses of these groups. I am going country by country and sending them the codex with the appeal in the relevant national language or in English. This is of course a lot of work and will take some time. Yesterday there were 47 addresses for Guatemala alone. Google's access analysis shows me that most of the mails have been received. I very much hope that there will be some feedback. I am always grateful for concrete tips on how to reach the right world citizens in this or similar ways.
