This call is addressed to individual persons as parts of mankind. Groups and organisations can support the appeal by sharing it. When enough self-confident world citizens from their country have registered, we want to initiate the foundation of a regional organisation, if this is possible in their country. They will then be invited to join. We assure you that your data will be stored and used exclusively for this purpose.
The United Mankind Organisation is then to be created through supra-regional alliances. This organisation is to be given a charter (constitution) and a democratically elected parliamentary assembly as the General Assembly. In this way, many plans and demands from civil society that continue to be blocked at the United Nations can soon be realised through the new world organisation.
Success will depend on how strong and effective the United Mankind Organisation develops and what influence it can exert on the nations individually and on the United Nations as a whole.

Hello, this is an interesting idea but you have a huge problem in your English translation. In Spanish it says, 'humanidad' but in English it is translating to 'MANkind'. Sorry, if you're not going to worry about gender equity in this initiative, count us out.
ReplyDeleteDo you only mean men when you say ‘mankind’? Not for me. Women and men have equal rights. That is a self-evident fact and does not depend on terms or the interpretation of terms.
